Priddy Folk Festival Camping
When: Friday 7th July-Sunday 9th July 2017. Gates open at 10am on Friday morning until 10am on the Monday.
Where: Priddy Village, Wells. Somerset. BA5 3BB. (Sat Nav will take you to the general area, but please follow the festival signs to get you to the right place.)
Priddy Folk Festival is a relaxed and friendly festival set in the lovely village of Priddy, which is set on top of the Mendip Hills. The festival is spread throughout the village, including a Sessions Tent and 2 large Marquees on the historic Village green.
There will be lively Folk music from some very popular Priddy acts including, Jamie Smith’s Mabon, Tom McConville and Fasutus and many more. You will also get the chance to hear new music from some up and coming artists.
As well as the great music acts you can enjoy, there will be plenty of local fare on offer. The festival bar will provide with the best local Ales and Ciders. There will be some fantastic food available from the local caterers-in particular "The Green Cow" cafe, which will serve you up some delicious home cooked food. This Cafe is set up on the main green and ran by the local PTA, so all profits made will go to the local school.
The campsite is a 5 minute walk from the festival site. It is equipped with all the facilities you need whilst camping, including hot showers and portable toilets throughout. There are plenty of water points and recycling facilities. There is free parking for ticket holders and you can park near your tent. Contact us for a pre-erected fully equipped tent for the weekend. We will set-up your tent and all equipment ready for your arrival and dismantle after you leave.
If you need supplies, there is a very handy mobile shop that visits the campsite each day or you can browse the village farm shop where you can find a selection of local meats and produce. If you need a supermarket or cashpoint, you can find these in Cheddar or Wells, which is about a 6 mile drive from Priddy.
The festival organisers do their best to make everything accessible to people with disabilities. There are wheelchair accessible toilets,dedicated parking spaces on the green, dedicated camping next to the festival site and designated viewing areas. If you have any concerns or suggestions, the organisers welcome you to get in touch before you book.
Whilst having a lovely weekend as Priddy, you can also enjoy knowing that the whole event is a non-profit organisation. All funds made from the festival will go towards local projects such as clubs, school equipment, art exhibitions, music tuitions and even local archaeological digs!
Weekend camping tickets start from £70. Teens are half price and under 11's get in for free!
Day tickets cannot be sold in advance. The organisers cannot guarantee there will be any available on the day. If all camping tickets sell out, there will be no option to buy day tickets. Please check their website for updates: www.priddyfolk.org
